Derek Runge is an experienced operations leader focused on developing people, driving performance, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. He is passionate about building strong teams and creating a culture of excellence and accountability. Derek joined Roaring Fork Restaurant Group in November 2025 as Senior Regional Manager for Northern Wisconsin. He brings over 25 years of experience in the food industry, including 12 years in multi-unit leadership. Prior to joining Roaring Fork, Derek spent 18 years with Noodles & Company, progressing from General Manager to Regional Director of Operations.

In his free time, Derek can be found traveling, attending concerts, fishing, cooking, and golfing. His favorite vacation is the Ship Rocked cruise, and his favorite dish to cook is grilled tenderloin with merlot risotto and asparagus.<.p>
